Who we are

Mias Booking (miasbooking.com) is a booking platform for cleaning businesses. Cleaning businesses use it to take bookings, run their schedule, and communicate with their customers. When you book through a business's booking form, that business — not Mias Booking — provides your cleaning service, and your booking details are shared with them so they can do the work you asked for.

This policy also applies to booking and messaging services provided through Mias Booking for participating cleaning businesses, including Luisa's Cleaning Service and Edu's Cleaning Service. Each cleaning business is the sender responsible for its own customer messaging program, and Mias Booking provides the software used to operate it.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, service address, and the booking details you enter when you book, request an estimate, or start filling out a booking form. Business users also give us account details when they sign in.

Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting, and keeping the service working. We use a sign-in session cookie; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

To schedule and manage bookings, send booking-related messages (confirmations, reminders, invoices, and receipts), respond to your questions, follow up on booking requests you started but didn't finish, and keep the service secure and working.

Text messages (SMS)

Luisa's Cleaning Service and Edu's Cleaning Service each use Mias Booking to send booking-related text messages only to their own customers and cleaning leads who expressly opt in through that business's public booking form at miasbooking.com/book/luisas or miasbooking.com/book/edus. Each checkbox is optional and unchecked by default; consent is not a condition of purchase.

Messages may include booking confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling or cancellation updates, crew-on-the-way and service-status notices, invoice reminders, review requests, and one follow-up when an opted-in visitor does not finish a booking. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Messaging vendors may process this information only as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging service; they may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share information

With the cleaning business you booked with, so they can provide the service. With service providers who run our infrastructure — hosting and email/text delivery — only as needed to operate the platform. With authorities if the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.

Data retention & security

We keep booking and account records for as long as they are needed to run the service and meet the record-keeping needs of the businesses using it. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and we keep regular backups.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information at any time — contact us at hello@miasbooking.com, or contact the cleaning business you booked with directly. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and out of non-essential emails using the link in the email.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
